Honoured to have my recent work on the upcoming film ‘Dhurandhar’ (2025) featured by Divya Marathi in their Sunday special Rasik Puravni.

In Dhurandhar, I had the opportunity to work as a Concept Artist – Character Development, where I developed pre-look and visual concept arts for all major characters, forming the visual foundation for look tests and final on-set execution.
This work was created in close creative alignment with Character Designer Preetisheel Singh D’Souza.
Designing distinct, layered, and psychologically driven looks for characters portrayed by Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Gaurav Gera, Rakesh Bedi, and Danish was both a challenge and a deeply fulfilling process.
Each character demanded a unique visual language — physical transformation, skin textures, age detailing, scars, tattoos, and inner psychological markers — all developed through detailed digital pre-visuals that later became the backbone of look tests and SFX makeup execution.
The character ‘Siyahi’ has especially sparked discussion. What appears as birthmarks on screen are actually symbolic tattoos, conceptualised as an integral narrative element. These markings visually carry the character’s past and inner conflict, making the body itself a storytelling surface — raw, unsettling, and deeply cinematic.
Grateful to Divya Marathi for recognising behind-the-scenes creative work, and to my dear friend Narendra Bandbe for curating Rasik Puravni with such sensitivity towards art and artists.
Art, when done right, speaks even before the first dialogue.
